Chopta, Tungnath

Chauhamba Peak

Chaukhamba is a mountain massif in the Gangotri Group of the Garhwal Himalaya. Its main summit, Chaukhamba I, is the highest peak in the group. It lies at the head of the Gangotri Glacier and forms the eastern anchor of the group.

Roopkund

Roopkund is a high altitude glacial lake in the Uttarakhand state of India. It lies in the lap of Trishul massif. Located in the Himalayas, the area around the lake is uninhabited, and is roughly at an altitude of 16,470 feet, surrounded by rock-strewn glaciers and snow-clad mountains.

Khirsu

Khirsu is a hill station in a Pauri Garhwal district of the state of Uttarakhand, India. Khirsu is a situated at an altitude of 1700 m. with 11 KM towards north from Pauri and 92 KM from Dehradun city towards west. Khirsu is famous for its scenic background.

Deoriyatal

Deoria Tal is a lake about 3 km from the villages of Mastura and Sari on the Ukhimath-Chopta road in Uttarakhand. At an altitude of 2,438 meters, it has heavily wooded, lush green surroundings with snow-covered mountains in the backdrop.
